I chose Mercy because of it's reputation as an outstanding college preparatory school. When I shadowed I noticed the diversity of the students and how happy all the girls were. I could tell the teachers loved their jobs, and that they wanted to be there. I felt comfortable in the halls, and welcomed by the students. Picking Mercy has definitely been the best decision of my life. |

Courses: Tech Overview; English 9; Spanish 1; Speech; Algebra 1 Honors; World History; Biology Favorite Course: Algebra 1 Honors Extracurriculars: Diving Team; Pro-Life Club; Mercy Works Community Service: Assistant Coach Grade School Swim Team Why did you choose Mercy? I choose Mercy because when I shadowed a student, everyone was so welcoming and I immediately realized there were many opportunities for everyone. I am so glad I choose to become part of the Mercy family. Favorite Mercy Moment: Orientation Day! This was the first day of school and you could tell everyone felt nervous because it was a new school for all the girls, not just me. Our freshman counselor, Mrs. Brown, had several different fun activities which encouraged us to meet new friends and really experience how much love is shared among Mercy girls. |
